About Chardham Yatra

• Chardham Yatra is one of the most sacred pilgrimage journeys in India, believed to wash away sins and open the doors to liberation. Uttarakhand’s four holy shrines—Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath—are collectively known as the Char Dhams
  of Garhwal.

• Gangotri – Origin of River Ganga

• Kedarnath – One of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva

• Badrinath – Sacred shrine of Lord Vishnu

Day 01: Pune/Mumbai – Haridwar

• Board train for Haridwar.

• O/N: Train Journey

Day 02: Haridwar (Local Sightseeing)

• Receive a warm welcome by Gateway Holidays representative. Transfer to hotel.

  • Evening Ganga Aarti

  • Local auto charges extra @ actual

• O/N: Haridwar

Day 03: Haridwar – Barkot (210 km / 7 hrs)

• Drive to Barkot with packed lunch. Evening leisure.

• O/N: Barkot

Day 04: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot

• Drive to Yamunotri parking → 6 km trek (one way) or Pony/Doli (extra @ actual).

• After Darshan return to Barkot.

• O/N: Barkot

Day 05: Barkot – Uttarkashi (100 km / 4 hrs)

• Check in at Uttarkashi. Visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple and attend evening Aarti.

• O/N: Uttarkashi

Day 06: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (100 km / 4 hrs)

• After breakfast proceed to Gangotri. After Darshan return to Uttarkashi.

• O/N: Uttarkashi

Day 07: Uttarkashi – Sitapur (250 km / 8–9 hrs)

• Drive to Sitapur with packed lunch.

• O/N: Sitapur

Day 08: Kedarnath Darshan (17 km)

• Proceed to Kedarnath by:

  • Helicopter (15 mins one way)

  • Pony / Doli

  • Trek (5 hrs)
    (All charges extra as per actual)

• Night halt in tented accommodation (quad/five sharing) at Kedarnath.

• O/N: Kedarnath

Day 09: Return to Sitapur

• After morning Darshan, trek/return to Sitapur.

• O/N: Sitapur
