Day 01: Mumbai / Pune → Tirupathi (By Train)

  • Today afternoon / evening we will board the train for Tirupathi.

  • Mumbai CSMT at 12:45 hrs

  • Pune Station at 16:40 hrs

  • Overnight: Journey by Train.


Day 02: Arrival – Tirupati – Tirumala Darshan

  • Arrival at Renigunta Railway Station at 07:40 am.

  • Meet & greet by GATEWAY HOLIDAYS representative and transfer to hotel.

  • Hotel check-in at 11:00 am.

  • After fresh up, at 2:00 pm drive to Tirumala Hills for Darshan of Lord Venkateshwara.

  • About Tirumala:

    • The Tirumala Hills are 3,200 feet above sea level and spread over 10.33 sq miles.

    • The seven peaks represent the seven hoods of Adisesha, called Seshachalam.

    • The seven peaks are: Seshadri, Neeladri, Garudadri, Anjanadri, Vrishabhadri, Narayanadri and Venkatadri.

    • The Tirumala shrine is a masterpiece of Dravidian architecture, mentioned in many Sastras and Puranas.

  • Places of Visit:

Day 03: Excursion to Kanchipuram & Golden Temple (Vellore)

  • Early morning after breakfast, proceed to Kanchipuram.

  • Kanchipuram Highlights:

  • Known as Kanchi, famous for its ancient temples and silk sarees.

  • Visit important temples:

    • Kanchi Kailasanathar Temple (oldest Shiva temple)

    • Ekambareswarar Temple (largest Shiva temple)

    • Vaikunta Perumal Temple (Vishnu temple)

    • Kamakshi Amman Temple (Goddess Parvati temple)

  • Kanchipuram Silk Sarees are world-renowned for their handwoven designs and traditional weaving.

  • Golden Temple – Vellore:

  • Located inside the Thirupuram Spiritual Park at Thirumalaikodi, Vellore.

  • The temple, dedicated to Goddess Mahalakshmi, is covered with 1500 kg of pure gold.

  • Every detail is handcrafted by artisans skilled in temple art.

  • The gold bars were converted into foils and mounted on copper manually.

  • After darshan, return to Tirupati.

  • Overnight Stay: Tirupati

Day 04: Tirupati Local Sightseeing & Departure

  • After breakfast, complete checkout formalities and proceed for sightseeing.

  • Places of Visit:

    • Tiruchanoor Padmavathi Ammavari Temple

    • Sri Govindaraja Swami Temple – one of the most important temples in Tirupati.

    • The temple originally had Sri Parthasarathi as the main deity.

  • In 1130 AD, Sri Ramanuja added the Sri Govindaraja deity.

  • Complex includes Kalyana Venkateswara, Andal, Ramanuja, and Anjaneyaswami Temples.

  • Kapila Theertham – sacred Shiva temple and waterfall.

  • Sage Kapila meditated here and received the divine vision of Lord Shiva & Goddess Parvati.

  • A holy dip here is believed to wash away sins.

  • Sri Kalahasti Temple – famous for Rahu-Ketu Pooja.

  • Believed to remove astrological doshas related to Rahu and Ketu.

  • After exploring all places, transfer to Tirupati Railway Station for your return journey.
