Depart from Solapur at approximately 4:00 PM and from Pune in the evening by AC Sleeper Bus towards Indore. Passengers joining from Mumbai will also travel towards Indore as per the scheduled boarding arrangement. Overnight: Bus Journey

Indore – Omkareshwar

Arrive at Indore at approximately 8:00 AM and proceed towards Omkareshwar. On arrival, perform the Narmada Parikrama Snan and Sankalp Puja and begin the sacred Parikrama. Overnight: Omkareshwar

Omkareshwar – Raver Khedi – Teli Bhatyan – Shahada

After breakfast, proceed for darshan at Raver Khedi and Teli Bhatyan and continue towards Shahada. Overnight: Shahada

After breakfast, proceed to Prakasha for darshan and continue towards Rajpipla. Overnight: Rajpipla

From Katpor, undertake the Narmada Sea Journey by boat, according to the local boat schedule, and continue towards Karnali. Overnight: Karnali

Narmada Parikrama is a spiritual pilgrimage, not a tourism tour. All participants are requested to maintain a devotional atmosphere and make the most of the spiritual energy of Maa Narmada throughout the journey.

  • water_dropAt the beginning of the Parikrama, every passenger should carry a new water bottle.
  • spaDuring the Parikrama, five Oti offerings are required: two at Omkareshwar, one during the Sea Journey, one at Nemawar and one at Amarkantak. Oti material should be carried accordingly. Carrying a saree for the Oti is optional.
  • volunteer_activismKumarika Pujan will be performed at two places. Giving gifts to the Kumarikas is optional.
  • checkroomOn the day of the initial Sankalp Puja, the clothes worn for the Sankalp are to be preserved. After completing the Parikrama at Omkareshwar, the same clothes are to be worn for the sacred bath and then left at the ghat as per the traditional practice. These clothes may be worn during the journey if required.
  • local_fire_departmentEvery day, Narmada Aarti will be performed. Each passenger should carry a Tamhan, Niranjan, ghee wick, Haldi-Kumkum, Akshata, incense sticks and Prasad for the Aarti.
