Overview

The four most sacred pilgrim destinations of the Hindus are Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath and are collectively known as Char Dham. These shrines are located in the great Himalayas, which is believed as the abode of Lord Shiva. Every Hindu must visit these four sacred places at least once in their lifetime. This pilgrimage begins from the West and ends in the East, so this yatra starts from Yamunotri, then proceeds to Gangotri and finally devotees visit Kedarnath and Badrinath. Each of these four places is devoted to a specific Hindu God or Goddesses and at each destination special Pooja and rituals are performed according to ancient Hindu traditions.

Day 1 :

Pune/Mumbai - Haridwar

Today we will board the train for Haridwar. O/N : Train Journey.

Day 2 :

Haridwar

You are greeted on arrival at Haridwar Railway Station by GATEWAY Holidays representative and thereafter transfer to Hotel. After lunch proceed towards haridwar local sightseeing by local auto (Auto Expenses Extra @Actual) Vaishno Devi Mandir, Manasa Matta & Chandidevi mandir(By Rope way Expenses Extra @Actual) Bharat Mata Mandir ), Ram Darbar,Rameshwar Temple, Pavan Dham and Evening visit ,Ganga Aarati. After exploring the entire place retire to hotel for an overnight stay. O/N: Haridwar.

Day 3 :

Haridwar to Barkot (210kms / 7Hrs Journey)

After breakfast, proceed towards Barkot, with packed lunch on arrival check in Hotel. Evening leisure. After Dinner retire to hotel for an overnight stay. O/N : Barkot.

Day 4 :

Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot (36kms Drive & 6kms Trek one way)

After a delicious breakfast, drive to YAMUNOTRI. On arrival at Yamunotri Parking Area, we need to trek for 6kms one way or by Pony or Doli. After Yamunotri Darshan trek back to the parking place. ((Pony & Doli charges are Extra @ Actual) drive back to Barkot (36kms) After exploring the entire place, retire to the hotel for an overnight stay. O/N: Barkot.

Day 5 :

Barkot - Uttarkashi (100kms Journey/ 4Hrs).

After a delicious breakfast complete the check-out formalities at the hotel then then drive to Uttarkashi (100kms Journey/ 4Hrs). On the way lunch. On arrival check in hotel. After fresh up Kashi Vishwanath Darshan and evening attend for the Aarati. After exploring the entire place, retire to the hotel for an overnight stay. O/N: Uttarkashi.

Day 6 :

Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi (100kms Journey/4Hrs).

After breakfast Proceed towards Gangotri Dham (4hrs Journey) after Darshan drive back to Uttarkashi.O/N: Uttarkashi.

Day 7 :

Uttarkashi to Sitapur (250kms /8-9Hrs).

After breakfast start your journey towards Sitapur, a small town near to Kedarnath, followed with packed lunch Reach Sitapur by evening and Night halt with Dinner. O/N: Sitapur.

Day 8 :

Kedarnath (17kms)

After breakfast proceed towards Kedarnath. For Darshan of LORD Kedarnath. ( By Helicopter (15mins one way / By Doli / Pony / Walk (5hrs), Helicopter,Pony ,Doli Charges Extra as per Actual to be paid directly) and after Dinner overnight stay at Kedarnath. O/N: Kedarnath.
NOTE: Accommodation here will be in TENTS on QUAD/FIVE sharing.

Day 9 :

Sitapur.

After darshan return to Sitapur for an overnight stay.

Day 10 :

Sitapur – Joshimath.

After Breakfast proceed towards Joshimath . On arrival check in hotel. O/N : Joshimath.

Day 11 :

Joshimath – Badrinath.

Early morning start your journey to BADRINATH. After darshan driver back to Joshimath. O/N : Joshimath.

Day 12 :

Joshimat - Rishikesh - Haridwar (200kms / 5-6Hrs)

After Breakfast proceed to Rishikesh on the way the sightseeing places are Ramjoola & Laxmanjoola, Geeta Mandir (Rishikesh sightseeing Auto Charges Extra @Actual) Night Dinner and Over Night at Haridwar. O/N: Haridwar.

Day 13 :

Haridwar.

After a delicious breakfast complete the check-out formalities at the hotel and then transfer to Haridwar Railway Station for return journey.

Day 14 :

Arrival Mumbai/Pune.
